A collision of Art, Science, I make, build, and do a lot of unusual stuff. Weird stuff. Most often by crashing two or more things together.
I am like a commercial artist for unusual projects, and have been rising to special development challenges for over 25 years at this point.
My Clients have included science museums, commericial haunted houses, artists, bands, theaters, and event planners. Sometimes I make things just to please myself.
I consider myself to be a skills collector, and i have developed a nice collection at this point. Some are sharp and new, others a little old, a bit rusty, waiting to be put back to use when the time is right.
I like to work in many mediums- wood, steel, electronics, computer programming, music, sculpture, object hacking, whatevs- the right stuff for the challenge at hand. I LOVE tools, and use that term very broadly. I also play guitar, particularly with my friends, and make home recordings.
If you ask a woodworker, a welder and a computer programmer all to solve the same challenge, the Wood worker will give you a wood oriented solution, the welder a metal solution, and the programmer a software solution. More skills lets me choose and explore more!
I am using this site as a showcase and as a place to leave my self notes about how and what i did. I wind up comparing a lot of stuff, and my final choices are quite particular.
